Luna the Wolfdog Eating a Marrow Bone
May 30, 2016Hiking in South Valley Park with Luna The Wolfdog
I have always been highly against wars and I believe that things can be accomplished without it. However, I do appreciate that in a world without true peace there are people who will fight to make sure their loved ones are safe and have their freedom. This Memorial day Mel and I went out for another hike at South Valley park in Morrison, Colorado with Luna the Wolfdog. Every time we go on one of these amazing hikes it makes me appreciate that we have our freedom here to experience amazing scenes like this.
We ended up finding an awesome little spot up behind some rocks where we could just hang out and not be bothered. It’s quiet and away from everything. These lands are actually right next door to Red Rocks and Dinosaur Ridge. It’s awesome to know that Dinosaurs used to walk these lands and I actually own a fossil from Dino Ridge that I got when I was about 8-10 years old. It was from the Smithsonian, a fragment of dino bone that was unable to be identified. So awesome that now as an Adult I get to hike through here where that very dinosaur once lived!
