Melissa Marie Facebook Post about Seven Sins Salon

Mel posted this on facebook and I felt the need to share it here. Her and I are always so nice to everyone and go above and beyond. I’m not going to put anyone on the spot so i’ll refrain from naming anyone… You know who you are.

Since we’ve opened up Seven Sins Salon many people who we thought were friends have proven to just be either trashy or don’t really care about us as much as we thought. There’s so much I want to say but it would make it very obvious who I’m talking about to certain people.

One of the things we strive for at the salon is to be fair and make sure everyone is walking out of there happy. This is our place of business. We have busted our asses every single day since 2 months before we even got the keys to the building. I don’t get much sleep anymore, I’m always behind on stuff, and there’s not much time to ever sit down and relax. All we ask in return is that you be courteous and treat us with the same respect that we show you. If you’re a band coming into the salon, I don’t care if you want to smoke some pot or have some drinks, we’ll even offer you some since it’s all legal here! However, don’t come asking for us to get you cocaine, pills, heroin… or anything else like it. It’s not going to happen. I’ve already dealt with enough friends (and lost those) who don’t know how to control themselves on that shit. I’ve never been one to say I’m highly against it, do what you want when you want, but please don’t bring it into my place of business. Also, if you’re planning on bringing people back to our salon to “party” and to cheat on your significant others… that’s not going to happen either. I’m just so sick of everyone being such shitty people to each other.

Mel and I go out of our way to hook up our friends and make sure that we do whatever we can to save you guys money and to make sure you have a great time while hanging out there with us. However, We’ve had friends that we’ll book and turn away multiple paying customers only to have you not show up and not call us to tell us you can’t make it. This makes us lose business and if you were a real friend you would show up or notify us so we can move the paying customers into your slot. When we tell people they can’t come in at a certain time because you have your appointment already booked, please show up to it, it’s like you’re taking money out of our pockets and that goes for any other salon you book at too! I have even had bands that want to come in on our day off, I’ll go set everything up, even on days where I’ve felt sick, and then you don’t show up or call me until days later!? WTF is that all about. I would never do that to you.

I know I’m going on a rant right now but it needed to be said. It sucks that I’ve had to tell off some people whom I thought were good friends because they are being shady and shitty people in one way or another. I’m not going to put up with it anymore, so just realize that if you’re not a part of my life anymore it’s for a good reason and I have no problem telling you to your face or at the shop when you get out of line. I’d rather do that than be fake and talk shit behind your back. I’m over it and so is she.

and Life goes on…
